For me the ONLY thing that helped was eating a Carb snack every hour... A few whole grain crackers... like wheat thins.... or whole grain toast.... I was MISERABLE..... Guest guest
Thank you for the information. I am hoping this will end in the next couple of weeks. If it doesn't, I just may do that. I am just ready to start feeling better. I am a busy body and this is keeping me down!!! Thank you again. Jeanne
Guest guest
I have tried crackers, but not too often. It seems that everything I put in my mouth makes me feel sick. The evenings are much better, usually sometime after 7:00 p.m. I am trying to eat enough, but some days it's a little difficult.
Guest guest
i took phenergan tablets at night and then 4 zofran tablets a day, and it didn't do me that great either...i was stubborn with my first son and didn't want the suppositories either, but when you're desperate, you're desperate! this time it's lightened up in the 2nd trimester, with my first son it lasted til he was born. good luck...i say give up and conceed to the suppositories. aka mom2ben99 (jennilee75@...) Gastric Bypass-Lap RNY 3/12/04-Dr Dunshee in Topeka Ks. Baby boy due 2/17/05-Shanndon original wt. 342/current wt. 206/goal wt. 140 Nausea My name is Jeanne and I have posted just a few times. I had gastric bypass in August 2003, had a miscarriage July 1 2004 and am now pregnant again at 11 1/2 weeks. For the past 5 weeks I have been nausea from morning until evening. I take zofran that dissolves under my tongue and it doesn't work most of the time. The doctor gave me a prescription for phenergan liquid, but it has too much sugar in it. They are telling me the only other thing I can do is suppositories. I guess I am stubborn, but I would rather be sick than do that. I was wondering if anyone has tried anything over the counter that has worked. I have tried the wristbands as well, but they haven't seemed to work very well. I really appreciate any feedback as my doctor's office is getting really short with me because they can't seem to think of anything else we can do. Thank you for all the great information you share every day. Jeanne Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:
Guest guest
Ginger sounds like a good idea. Is there also an actual ginger tea? Thank you so much for your support. Jeanne
