I griped and moaned, too.. took the one hour glucose test on Monday,

dumped severely (like I almost didn't make it home... it was like

drinking the milk of magnesia all over again, but ten times

worse)... I missed a whole day of work.

and found out today that my levels were 180 and the cutoff is 140.

I'm opting to just go into diabetic care because I don't think I'll

make it through the three hour test.

That's awesome you didn't dump.

I'm not sure of the difference between the two tests, but I told my

OB no way on the 3 hour. So she gave me the option of being

considered diabetic for the rest of the pg.

I had to take the darn 3 hour test... you made the right decision cause i

didnt dump with the first.. but they make your drink more of that stuff the

second time around and that did it.. lol

Soooooo sorry you got sick girl. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THE THREE HOUR

TEST!!!

It has double the glucose... from 50 grams to 100.

Why do some of us dump and others do not? Also wondering why my

weight loss stopped around 100lbs when others lost another 50 or so

that started at my weight.
