Hello ladies,

I had my baby shower last night and it was great. More people than I

expected showed up. I did however end up directing traffic for the

first hour or so. Guest were getting lost. My mother and grandmother

made so much food there were tons of left overs. But yet they forgot

to leave some for me and baby. :(..When I got up in the middle of the

night I thought for sure they would have left me a plate of

enchiladas and some taquitos..but no...they took them all home. I had

to settle for a bite of cake instead and I took 1 to many bites and

then dumped...shame on me.

I received really nice gifts and 3 bathrobs...I couldnt believe it. I

needed 1 but I never expected 3 and they are each different. :)

My sister is a perfume expert and she found some baby perfume at

Nordstroms and bought it for me. I couldnt believe it. It smells like

a fresh baby. The love and generosity shown by friends and my loving

family was really very nice.

So I have so much stuff now that I dont know what to do with it all.

There really isnt much I need to pick up other than a changing table

pad and a breat pump. I guess this is really going to happen soon. I

cant believe I am going to be a mommy.

Thanks for listening!

hi there! its true alot of women dont use a changing table. i on

the other hand, cannot imagine having a baby without one. it has

saved my back, and i love the diaper centers that attach to them.

it makes changing a nice routine for baby, a nice organized place to

get a good clean diaper change and saves your back too. and, if

you are c section mom. i cant imagine changing diapers bent over a

bed or couch or getting up off the floor to change diapers. its

just so good for the back, and convenient. i love mine.

If I didn't have such a LONG bathroom counter..... I would most likely have a

changing table as well. I don't have one.. because I don't need one at the

moment.

I have a great system... stacked diapers and wipes... and of course the sink

is there for " poopie " emergencies.... I have the soap and wash clothes.... etc.

I use baby towels folded for my kids to rest thier heads on.. :)

The BEST thing about my bathroom set up is that the diaper pail stays IN the

bathroom.. :)

We will be moving in a few months into a house we are fixing up.... and it

has a tiny bathroom... :(

So.. I will have to think about a changing table.

I am opting twords a nice long dresser.. with 6 drawers and then placing the

Changing pad on top....

I've had four showers, and three of them just last weekend! With

just under 3 weeks until Danson arrives, his room is a mess! I'm

curious about the baby perfume at Nordstrom's - do tell! Does anyone

know if you get duplicates and didn't get the gift receipt if you can

exchange the items for something else on your registry?

wow jeri, i'll be lucky to get one shower, let alone 4, lol...as for duplicates,

jsut take it to the store of your choice, they'll usually give you store credit

if nothing else, no questions asked...as long as they carry that item...
