Guest guest
I haven't posted in awhile we were hit by all the Hurricanes in Florida, no electric etc for week after week, and with all thats been going on - I am just getting my life back to normal. My question - I am pregnant 31 weeks, they will be doing a C-section at 39 weeks, my baby is still measuring small. The doctor said not to worry. Most people couldn't even tell till recently I was pregnant. YOu can now for sure because it is all in front. I feel good, the only major problem is indigestion. It has been horrible. What I would really like to know is if anybody who has had their child already, had a large baby after the WLS. My baby is very active and I have had all the tests - nothing is wrong so far. I just get a worried feeling about this baby coming early, or being to small. I eat as well as I can - take all my vitamins. I would like to know how others faired and if any of you made it to term, or were your babies born early or born at a low birth weight, etc. Just to get an idea. Also anything I should be concerned with or watch for as I near the end. You know signs! It has been 10 years since my first and I am so much smaller now, it is a totally different experience. Thanks Ladies. Thanks Sherry in Florida Scheduled C-Section 1/12/04 Pre-Pregnancy weight 140 Weight now 154lbs
Guest guest
post WLS baby was 36 weeks and weighed 6z# 9oz and was 19 1/8 inch long. Pre WLS baby @ 315# was 8# 11oz. If 2nd baby had gone to term, he'd have been just about the same I think,
Guest guest
My Pre WLS baby was 3 lbs 11 oz... born at 31 weeks... so that doesn't really count ... LOL My POST WLS baby was delivered at 37.5 weeks at 6 lbs 7 oz and 19.5 inches long. Had I gone to 40 weeks... Jonah would have been just over 7 lbs. I myself was a 6 lb baby. Some of my sisters were 6 lber's as well. Don't forget.. I am ONLY 5' tall and hubby is 5'7. (really 5'6.. but he swears it's 5'7) so I wouldn't be having the huge babies.. For the record.. I ate like a piggy my entire pregnancy... all good foods.. ate every few hours... (shh.. did eat some icecream and a few snickers bars ) ****************************************************************************** ******* K in Ft Lauderdale mommy to: Noah - officially 2! Jonah - b. 11/1/04 - 6lbs 7 oz - 19.5 inches long See our pictures at: http://www.love-my-kids.com
