hey kimberly, i like the idea of keeping baby in bassinet and 19 month old in

his cribs for a few extra months...also, don't forget, you'll have a lifetime of

pink...i say keep the nursery and do pink when she's a toddler...that's just the

penny pinching side of me talking tho...i'm sure i'd feel how you do too...good

luck!

what would you do?

my current youngest is a boy at 15 months old. his nursery is

decorated in the kidsline malawi print. we went all out with

lifesize murals of palmtrees and the safari animals on the walls,

and trimmed it with that pattern's border wall paper to match the

crib bedding. its a boy room using yellow, blue and light light

green pastels.

cole will be 19months old when this baby girl is due for

sectioning. im really stuck. part of me feels it would be a good

time (and convenient lest i mention it..) to start him cosleeping

with his brother together in my 4year old's room. two boys in one

room, etc...

the other part of me feels that 19mo's is too young to strip a baby

from his crib and nursery.

then theres the other question, this is my first girl and im dying

to deck out the nursery in pink. i have found a couple of girls

crib bed sets i like already and that would force us to paint over

the beautiful nursery and murals we've already set up. im torn

between setting up a new girls nursery and putting my current

youngest in bed with my 4year old too soon.

i have thought, what if i set up a girls nursery, keep my current

youngest (a boy) in there for a couple of months while the newborn

girl is in a bassinette. what do you gals think?

that way i get the nursery and cole gets to stay in his crib till at

least 21 months.

there's one other option. keep the nursery i have and the bedding

but pull the yellow and peach-pink out of the pattern by painting

those two tones on the wall to replace the blue and light green.

not my favorite option but lately, dh is so stressed over finances

that i might have to do this.

thanks for your input.

Kim I would let the 2 babies share the nursery you have. This baby girl will

not know if the nursery was pink or jungle theme. (I like the jungle theme.)

I would wait till they are both older and then you can safely move your son

into his brothers room and then be in a better place financially to paint the

girls room. Good luck.
