Guest guest
Anyone with experience on the reasons behind them. I know our son has a high sensory integration and could be seeking input. Any other experience out there to shed some light? Greatly appreciate your input Tony
Guest guest
Hi Tony, My son chews on his shirt collar and sleeves when he is fighting yeast. He also has sensory issues, but the chewing is directly connected to yeast. ~
Guest guest
Chewing can be parasites!! My son used to chew our cushions his collar(once he chewed a new tea short collar and distroyed it in a morning) this has gone following 8 full moon treatment of parasitesSent from my iPhone Anyone with experience on the reasons behind them. Guest guest
My daughter is currently going thru this. It comes and goes and I think it is related to inflammation. She tells me her teeth hurt (just below her nose) and I know it isn't teething related. We recently stopped immusist and then loratadine as I thought she may be reacting to them with more inflammation and the chewing as stopped a lot. Right now she tells me her teeth don't hurt but her tummy still hurts:(Sent from my iPhone Hi Tony, My son chews on his shirt collar and sleeves when he is fighting yeast. Guest guest
Chewing can also be zinc (need more). My daughter started to chew a couple of years back, and found she had lots of toxin (lead) issues, but also started to have sensory issues that were never present before. Started with supps, and after reading posts from here the zinc was the chewing one (also she need zinc to help detox the toxins) and it has dissipated. Still detoxing though with all many of other supps. She is feeling her body a bit more now, but still got to get the all lead out of her. Guest guest
Agree! We got rid of shirt chewing with GI Microbe x 2 caps per day, 3 in the week before full moon. Yes " sensory kid " needs a lot of input but consider conditions like Pica, or yeast over growth can set the stage for parasitic over growth in the body, the gut -- the body is all out of balance. All the input in the world will not address the craziness of parasites. > > Chewing can be parasites!! Guest guest
Yes, I think they are all linked. Inflammation increases which increases bad bacteria/parasites/yeast etc which thus depletes zinc. My daughter's recent mineral test showed a sharp decline in zinc since three months ago...over this time we saw the increased inflammation and dark poop...I would guess there are metals involved in this too for us...the merry go round continues!Sent from my iPhone Chewing can also be zinc (need more). Guest guest
For what its worth, I would never get meds off the internet without a script. There are many counterfit drugs out there, I don't think its worth the risk.
Guest guest
Thank you all for your responses. We started our son on Nystatin 4 times a day. He has been on it a while back for two months and then we checked his organs and there were no side effect. The thing that I found out is that it needs 6 months to work but it comes with risk again to the organs. I have heard that Nystatin does not flow deep in the small intestines. Any feedback? We are also considering, once two months are up with Nystatin to go back on Olive leaf, another natural anti fungal. The hope is to continue to control the yeast and at the same time, control sugar intake as well as carbohydrate food intake. On a positive note, after being non verbal for 3 or so years, in one month, he is speaking again, up to 8 words and up to 14 different vocal sounds. We have done HBOT, 40 dives, strict diet, supplements to fight deficiency, intense ABA therapies, speech and O/T, and the list goes on and on. Anyway, This group is awesome! Thanks for your feedback!!! > > For what its worth, I would never get meds off the internet without a script. Guest guest
Hi everyone, Sorry I have not been on the forum regularly. Just finally got a chance to check messages. Wanted to share that I also believe that zinc plays a big part in this. I had taken my son off zinc about 6 months ago and he started mouthing objects as well as chewing on his jacket and picking food particles or other small objects from floor and chewing them. I checked his zinc/copper ratio and it is 0.6 when it should be at least above 0.8 Now I have started zinc about a week and a half ago and it is already a little better. Another symptom that comes with zinc deficiency is gagging for my kid. Also, iron deficiency can play a part in it also. My son has low normal iron stores and I need to work on getting it better. Another cause of excessive mouthing in my kid is yeast flare. But low zinc/copper ration is the most important one. is > > > > > > Anyone with experience on the reasons behind them.
