Guest guest
- What do you think has helped your son most? Antiviral? How does teh assessment done by Dr Goldberg differs from a spect scan you can do in a regular hospital. I keep hearing good things about his approach. IN understand he does a spect scan, uses psych meds, and antivirals. Anything else I'm missing?RuthSent from my iPad We saw dr Harani, she was very nice but we saw no improvement!!! Guest guest
Thank you all for feedback.I feel a little disappointed and discouraged though. i had an appointment with Dr Bob Sears and cancelled to go to her instead. Thought she would be a better fit cause she's a family doctor and wanted her advice for me too since i want to have another child and wanted some guidance in preventive care. Guest guest
I am sorry if this question is annoying but just wanted to know what dosage of valtrex is considered higher? My son is 78 lbs and 9 yrs old. He is on 500 mg 3x daily. I thought this was a high dose itself. So just wanted to check what your little one's dose is. My son is more social and has a little better understanding and he has been on 500 mg 3xdaily for 3 1/2 months. Is your child still on valtrex or you did it for a period of few months? Sorry to bombard you with so many questions. Thanks is > >>>> > >>>>> > >>>>> Hello all, > >>>>> > >>>>> I scheduled an appointment with doctor Karima Hirani in Culver City Ca next week for my 3y old daughter. This is my first appointment.. Guest guest
{ Side note To Ms. , How old is your child when you start with Dr. G.? Thank you.}We also went to Dr. Hirani for a year when my daughterwas five. Now she's going 8 this May, 2013. WE did alot and spent a lot of money just like Ms. . Wedid a lot of (A LOT) of supplements, HBOT, IV chelation, dermal chelation, LDN, and others. I'm so excited atfirst appointment, was given few supplements and aftersome appointments, we're up to 24 to 30 supplements. Our house became a pharmacy since I wasn't able togive them all. It's chaos..I don't know what's kicking andwhat's giving the side effects. We also did HBOT, 40 sessions (need to rent a room in San Bernardino). My recommendations, just don't buy from her clinic,do research on probiotics and a lot of stuff. I will usually go home coming from her clinic with lots of stuffand very expensive. Your child is only 3, and every childis different. Don't lose hope but be wise on spendingyour money or else you will just stop doing things withno money. I hope Dr. Hirani could help you and she's really kind. Just don't get excited like me that I'll do everything but did not do my homework/research during that time. At the end, I lost a lot of money that I could spend in other things that might truly help. God bless you and everyone. MERRY CHRISTMAS. Guest guest
We found out less is more. OUr favorite doctor doesn't sell. When we started with her, we were up to 45 supplements a day and losing our minds on a DAN! type protocol. She put our son on 3 months of liquid minerals only to clear his mind. It was making him crazy and all the additives and colors and flavors, oh my! Good brands, too, but our son couldh't take it. He became very calm. Also hypoallergenic minerals (like Brainchild super sensitive or for us Lumina Health) are the most important bedrock deficiency to address, they make everything else work. I joined this group to see if other parents using unpasteurized low aluminum clay baths are seeing NO clay left just dark particles hanging in the water and precipitating out? I have never seen anything like it, and I have been using the baths for awhile. I was contaminated with metal and chemicals in a lab, passing it in utero, so we've had a ton of stuff come out on the tests and can correlate tests with how the baths go. We need a new test for metals on Valtrex, has anyone checked excretion of metals while doing Valtrex? I decided to try this because we had our umpteenth herpes outbreak, a vicious one, after AIT. We always get them after AIT. I got shingles after the last time I did it. ANother discussion for another day I think, but I was sick of us being sick, and I know mercury and herpes go together, so we started Valtrex. Guest guest
Just wanted to add; you are rinsing the blue coating off the pills? Its aluminum coating on them. Coconut oil and Monolaurin can be used to clear viruses, all natural. And LDM 100 - but must be used in very low doses ( drops). You can google for the source of these products. Guest guest
Yes, that coating is disgusting! Why put something so vile looking on the pill? What is the optimal time length to take Valtrex or is it all over the board? I cannot combine it with any other drug, my son is too sensitive.I let the pills/halves melt in the soup jars and/or bowls I fix and keep warm in the crockpot in a water bath.I have been fighting the yeast beast, especially when my son ate a whole squirt bottle of locally grown raw organic honey I was hoarding recently! I wondered why he was so loud and giddy. We use a rotation of black walnut, yeast/fungal defense, echinacea/goldenseal, candasolve herb syrup, tansy herb syrup, pau d'arco, olive leaf, and repeat. Then we use four or five caps of a safe silver water we buy by the gallon. And vitamins, minerals, aminos, magnesium times two types alternated, one psyllium hull a day, and calorie boosters. We get nutritional checkups every other month. Our son had a stroke on top of everything else so we have to grind up his food. His tolerance for pills and capsules is amazing! He is a big happy healthy teen now on his "soups." We have done feeding problems for a year at a time to no avail. Now that we're done with mild HBOT and moving on to hard HBOT with no side effects, I'm hoping the hundred dives really heals the damaged parts of his brain. I met lots of Moms that said after 40 and 100 dives were the big leaps in cognition and catching up academically respectively. We had a nice bump after the first 20 hard HBOTs. His teacher was amazed. We did mild HBOT for a year or so at home pulsing it a week on/a week off because of the strain on excretion. We are selling the mild HBOT setup and using the money for hard HBOT with Dr. Zant in Destin. He is a wizard with the hard HBOT. Does it perfect. We tried it on the HBOT truck and son had a horrible months long regression. Does anybody live in Tampa or Destin? I'm moving there from Northern VA after Christmas or New Years depending on transport details still being worked out for our household and animals. I have already met lots of nice people there already in the ASD community, just not many biomed users. Just wanted to add; you are rinsing the blue coating off the pills? Guest guest
How can you know it's higher if you don't know the dose they started with? When we left Dr. G (250 mg 3x a day), our DAN upped the Valtrex dose (500mg, 3x a day). There is yet to be an established "normal" dose. Just highly advised, mostly by parents.
