My naija sisters, I use Kirkmanlabs cod liver oil (unflavored) and Efalex omega 3 + 6. I do not use Nordic naturals, because they contain soy and we are GFCFSF.Sent from my iPhone

Blue Ice has a VERY strong fishy/chemical-ly smell and taste in my opinion. Couldn't get my son to take it, and I couldn't blame him for refusing. Carlson's wasn't much better for him that way. We did Nordic for a long time then stopped b/c of the soy. Now we take Barlean's fish oil Swirl which tastes so good my son actually asks for it! I give him the key lime flavor and I was really impressed by the taste myself.

Thanks my dear sisters. Will look into buying Efalex @Bola, why was blue ice hard for her to take, nasty fishy taste?NekaSent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Vitamin E in foods are derived from two sources, natural (d-alpha tocopherol) or synthetic (dl-alpha tocopheryl)The Vitamin E in Nordic naturals is derived from soybean oil, a natural source. Please check their website, go to FAQ (group 3) number 19. However, it does say that it does not contain soy proteins or undetectable levels of the soy protein. I personally avoid it because my son cannot have soy. I have even written to Nordic naturals to inquire about soy in their supplements. They would not give a definite answer that it was soy-free, they just said most individuals with soy allergy can tolerate it.Sent from my iPhone

I spoke w/ customer service at Nordic naturals about 1.5 years to ask if their products have soy b/c I was worried where they got their vitamin e from. She told me their vitamin e is derived from soybeans. So I stopped using their clo.

My naija sisters, I use Kirkmanlabs cod liver oil (unflavored) and Efalex omega 3 + 6. I do not use Nordic naturals, because they contain soy and we are GFCFSF.Sent from my iPhone

sis Neka,I asked a similar question recently because I had used 3 major good brands carlsons,Nordic and blue ice.I wanted to find out which people had found best.I think in my opinion that blue ice is great but was difficult for child to take so i am back to nordic.Bola
