Guest guest
Caryn is right. D-Alpha Tocopherol is soy. They claim soy free on the bottle because allergens that test under 20ppm can be labeled free of that allergen. The vitamin e is derived from soy then they remove the protein to under that threshold of 20ppm. Call the company when in doubt. Ask what the vitamin e is derived from. They will tell you them give you a whole speech about how the protein is removed and there isn't anything to worry about. Except there is. My son can't tolerate soy at all. Besides that if it isn't organic or specifically says verified non-gmo it is a GMO. Horrible for anyone but especially our kids. Liam's Mom Please excuse the typos. Sent from my phone. Guest guest
HiIts really hard to get a Vit E which is free from soy/corn. After doing lots of searching and googling, I could finalize on Natural Vit E from Country Life (www.countryLifeVitamins.com). They claim that their Vit E is free from Soy, Corn and other allergans etc.Appreciate any feed-back on this. I just started giving this to my son from today morning.Best regardsAmitSent from BlackBerry® on AirtelSender: mb12valtrex Date: Sat, 26 Jan 2013 11:12:45 -0800 (PST)To: mb12valtrex@yahoogroups com<mb12valtrex >ReplyTo: mb12valtrex Cc: mb12valtrex@yahoogroups com<mb12valtrex >Subject: Re: Cod liver oil and ProEFA question Yes, the Purely E. I really like those! I agree with everything you both said. I just wanted to make sure you knew about the other forms of vitamin E on the market in case you ever needed to supplement directly with Vit E. It took us what seemed like forever to find this truly soy free Vit E!Liam's MomPlease excuse the typos. Sent from my phone. She told me their vitamin e is derived from soybeans. So I stopped using their clo. Vitamin E in foods are derived from two sources, natural (d-alpha tocopherol) or synthetic (dl-alpha tocopheryl)The Vitamin E in Nordic naturals is derived from soybean oil, a natural source. Please check their website, go to FAQ (group 3) number 19. However, it does say that it does not contain soy proteins or undetectable levels of the soy protein. I personally avoid it because my son cannot have soy. I have even written to Nordic naturals to inquire about soy in their supplements. They would not give a definite answer that it was soy-free, they just said most individuals with soy allergy can tolerate it.Sent from my iPhone It doesnt have soy,I just checked. No worries Bola.Your safe! Guest guest
I tried Blue Ice many time but it also increased constipation. We have stopped that. Recent tests show that my daughter needs 4 gram of EFA ! How can I supplement that, any idea? Thanks,
