Guest guest
There is this eyeglass store in my city that gives lifetime guarantee against breaking, no matter how many times they get broke. The only thing is they don't cover lost glasses. So, you can call around to find one with a good replacement policy. I think they make cords you can put on glasses as well to help keep them on. Love and prayers, Heidi N Just found out yesterday, my 4-year-old with autism and hyperactivity needs glasses for astigmatism. Do you have any tips on getting her to keep the glasses on or products (like bands that go around eyeglasses?) that would help keep the glasses on or at least not falling and breaking? Thank you. Guest guest
I have an astigmatism and it's annoying. Good news is that it can correct if you take some extra steps. I would highly recommend Rx sunglasses since astigmatisms tend to be from squinting. If that's not possible, then hats or some kind of eye protection to help prevent squinting.I used to shoot competitively and there's lots of squinting involved. I started shooting in the 9th grade (better than perfect vision) and by the time I hit my freshman year at college (also on the rifle team at my university), I was diagnosed with an astigmatism and am now nearsighted because of it. : / I found out when I kept missing exits on the freeway because I couldn't read the signs until I was right under them. I was living in an entirely different country where I was completely unaware of where I was going so I wasn't familiar with anything. Nothing like moving some place totally foreign to you to show you how bad your vision got! ~ Antiviral Therapy 101~~ Make a biomed book ~~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Just found out yesterday, my 4-year-old with autism and hyperactivity needs glasses for astigmatism. Guest guest
My 4.5 yo daughter with Down syndrome has worn glasses since she was 22 months old. Her vision is very poor so she has to have the glasses on all the time. She has a strap that attaches to each side of the glasses and fits snugly behind her head. It really helps to keep them in place. We get the strap at the eye doctor's office but maybe you could google for something similar? > > Just found out yesterday, my 4-year-old with autism and hyperactivity needs glasses for astigmatism.
