Guest guest
Hey - I am not sure I would be comfortable with that type of response from my OB. You are having many of the sypmtoms of Preterm Labor. I would talk seriously consider asking him to do a cervical sonogram to check your length. I would also suggest peeking at your lab results yourself. Sometimes things that are on the low side of normal can affect how you feel. When my B12 gets low, I get sluggish and tire easily. Also, I would tell him if he thinks you are malnourished to refer you to a nutrionist and do frequent growth scans on the baby. If you feel like your doctor is not listening to you, then I would look for a new one. > saw my ob for my monthly check and my hospitalization fu (kidney stones.) he > said i can return to work monday on 4 hour work restriction. i told him of my > increased vaginal discharge, menstral like cramping, w/rest during day i can > do things during day, still have some low back pain, that i am taking some > tylenol 3 and phenegran for pain. he says only because of my gastric bypass am i > not doing well--weak. he said that the only reason i am weak (only diagnosis) > is because of the rny. he has a lab value for my pre-albumin that is very low > and shows malnutrition. but everything else is ok..... i dont buy this. so i > would be fine if i hadnt had the rny, and that all the symptoms i describe are > nothing. i am just weak and right now malnutritioned. > what do you think? yvonne > > >
