Guest guest
Hello to all... I have changed insurance companies since having my surgery and have lots of loose skin on my arms, belly and thighs that I want to have taken care of....what did any of you do to help get the insurance to pay for this? My new policy states absolutely no cosmetic surgery unless it is to correct a deformity or reconstruction....I'm desperate, please help me!! I'm coming to you since I think several of you have already had your tummy tucks, etc. done. Thanks to all for reading.... Good luck to all your babies - my #2 is still on hold per my doctor (maybe in 3 months)! Rene RNY 11/30/2000 Cameron 12/1/03 (Miracle baby after 15 years of trying!!!!) Guest guest
> Good LUck with the insurance companies, mine said no, so I asked my mom to loan me some money. It was the best investment I have made. I am 3 years post op gbp, and one year boob lifted and tummy tucked. I am very happy. Now comes the baby to stretch it out, but it's worth it. Any questions please write. Guest guest
I would start by documenting and visiting your PCP for every little rash ... Lets face it.. saggy boobs... If I am not VERY diligent.. I get yeasty infections (South Florida.. hot as hell). The tummy apron.... also a spot of nastiness.... The thighs... are you getting horrendous rashes... is it limiting your physical activity?? For the record.. I do use antibacterial soap.. pat dry and use a Cornstarch/Zinc oxide powder daily... and it basically keeps me fresh and yeast free now... However... some insurance companies with adequate PCP visits, documentations, scripts for creams.. etc.... will cover 'reconstructive or medically needed surgery' based on medical history. The arms are harder to get paid for.... I am afraid mine will be forever flapping in the wind.. LOL K in Ft Lauderdale mommy to: Noah - officially a very Terrible 2 !!!
