Guest guest
Hi - I have done the eye thing, not pregnant, but during the college years - it looks really scary!! But not painful and will heal. I was so tired and called the doctor about 9 weeks in and it turned out I did have low iron. They told me to take a certain over the counter iron pill so I call my WL surgeon and he called in a prescription one that we absorb much better. I feel a world better and has been smooth sailing since then. Good Luck Tara RNY 11-05-02 EDD 04-03-05 with first baby
Guest guest
So glad to hear Im not the only one STARVING all the time. I will try the peanut butter crackers and frequent meals. Im now dry heaving multiple times a day. I get sudden urges to scarf down food. if I cant get food in fast enough, Im heaving. Yesterday, it was so violent I popped a blood vessel in my eye. I had to testify in court today (as a therapist) with a blood red eye. I see the doc tomorrow and Im only 8 weeks along. I think SOMETHING must be wrong as I have never been this tired with my first (pre WLS) pregnancy. Has anyone had trouble with low iron or other stuff that can cause lethargy post WLS?? Will I get thru this?? Any suggestions for dry heaves?? Really need some support. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi, I got my blood work done today so if there is an iron problem, they should find it. Glad your pregnancy is going well! Best of luck to you!
