Guest guest
we're trying to boost my son's immuno response. He seems to do pretty good on 4life transfer factors...the macroforce seemed to give him a yeast/allergy response but I can't be sure (it looks like its made in yeast)... do your kids generally do better with Immusist ? is it also made in yeast ? and does it contain transfer factors as well as 1,3 glucans ? thanks so much for your help
Guest guest
My son had oral thrush for 2 years. It went away with immusist and never came back. Ayse we're trying to boost my son's immuno response.
Guest guest
Cool report Ayse...THanks for the great post!!! Drymeadow06, I'm trying to come up w/a way to explain the differences a different/more clear way.... Immusist is not made in yeast nor does it have yeast in it. Immusist is surfactants. A surfactants job is different than feeding the body (supplements general job is to feed it some sort of nutrient)….surfactants main job is to lube (reduce the surface tension, hydrate & oxygenate the cells)...look up " surfactants " on Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surfactant " Surfactants are compounds that lower the surface tension of a liquid " There are over 5,000 types of surfactants, some are very edible & safe for consumption, in fact help our bodies. A preemie before 30 weeks gestation does not produce their own body's surfactants therefore the pedestrian in our WA group doses surfactants to increase the rate of survivorability for the baby…surfactants have saved thousands of preemies lives a year. As an untrained person I would NEVER guess what surfactant is best to use in our bodies. Immusist was developed by someone Highly Trained in Surfactants. Of the over 80 edible surfactants in Immusist all were chosen for their positive characteristics that help the body work better. Think of surfactants as the lube job for the body. As the cells surface tension is reduced, they work together better. (Think about them as you would an oil change…the engine works better w/clean oil…you can put all the gas in the world to feed the car (i.e. food & supplements for your body) but w/o changing your oil your car will break down. We still need to feed our bodies the right food/water, just like you have to put gas in your car ( & the better the gas the better your car runs…my husband has done many gas mileage checks using different gases…sorry, Shell always beats Arco around our house)….but clean/well lubed oil is still an important piece to keeping things running well. Immusist does not cure anything, nor does it " feed " the body, it " lubes " the body to help it work better so that what you are already feeding it assimilates better (that's why I dose it w/my vitamins & fats, by reducing the surface tension it helps the cell assimilate the nutrient better). Case in point, my son has had the same good vitamins for years; doing the vitamins with the Immusist is what has finally brought my son out of mineral derangement (per years of Doctors Data Hair Analysis lab tracking). I've seen the blood lab results turn around with some really trashed immune systems w/just Immusist (we're talking full doses here)....but for some of our nutrient deprived kids the " feeding " part is still very important & they work together. Hope this better explains that Immusist is not a Trans factor nor any other supplement, its job is different. Like several of our practioners have said, it's in a category all it's own in how it helps the body. After working with Immusist & some great practitioners that understand Immusist, I don't know anyone that should not be on it to help their body. The Trans Factor product is feeding particular nutrients to the body, which is a different job than Immusist. It was Immusist that made the difference for us....but we've still needed to maintain good food/vits/good fats & appropriate supplements. If he does well on Trans Factor dosing Immusist w/it may be a good option as well. This is hard to explain...hope it makes sence... Guest guest
that makes a lot of sense, thank you both. I think I'll go ahead and invest in a bottle to see if it improves his immune response. reassuring to know its not made in yeast, given to preemies successfully, and contains a wide array of surfactants (not the transfer factors though). > > > > > ** > > > > > > > > > we're trying to boost my son's immuno response.
