Baby boy due 2/17/05-Shanndon original wt. 342/current wt. 206/goal wt. 140 18 week update Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to do a quick update. I dont get to post much but I do read everything. Congrats to the Newbies!! Congrats to all who have found out the gender of their babies! and Congrats to those who recently had their babies or who are almost there. (I am so jealous)!!! I went for my 18 week checkup with OB on 10/19. He said the babies are growing fine and they found 2 heartbeats even though they can't be for sure it was 2 DIFFERENT babies because the office only has ONE doppler....GET WITH THE PROGRAM...LOL I gained 2 pounds since my last visit..So i have lost a total of 15 pounds since finding out I was pregnant! They didnt have the results from my AFP test yet and I am not really sure I want them. If it comes back abnormal (which happens often with twins) i am not doing an amnio so I pretty much wasted my time and insurances money doing it to begin with but oh well...LOL I go on 10/25 for my 3rd u/s (go once a month) and I will be 19 weeks so hopefully they babies will cooperate and let us get a look at the " parts " so I will know what to call them instead of " peanuts " ...LOL My 3 1/2 yr old decided yesterday she wants the babies out NOW and had a 10 minute crying fit because she doesn't understand why we have to wait till the Easter Bunny comes to get our babies...LMAO It was sad but sweet but funny...Guess you had to be there! Well I guess this book has gotten long enough, Thanks to all who made it this far!!!
