I lost 18 lbs during my pg... but I got preggers 10 weeks post op... I hadn't

hit goal or even close to it..

Of course.. it's coming off nicely now..

I'm just over 5yrs post-op, 38wks preggers (csection on Wed!) and a

Mom to a 6yr old.

With son pre-op I only gained 28# and lost over 25# before leaving

the hospital.

This time it's been scary (there are previous posts) with weight

fluxuations the entire time. I am now up to a total of 17# gained,

but at my 16 wk appt I was down nearly 14 pounds.

My doctor told me to do the best I could and to not be upset...as

long as the baby is healthy everything will work out.

I found myself pregnant 3 weeks out after surgery and have lost over seventy

pounds since then. I lost 26 pounds the first 3 weeks so the rest have been

since the pregnancy. However due to finding out early on I was able to notify

surgeon, dietitian and ob and all have been monitoring me carefully. The ob is

okay with weight loss so far.
