welcome to the group istevens...you'll want to take either one prenatal or 2

flintstone vitamins and folic acid while ttc concieve and afterwards...other

then that, just get bloodwork done and let it speak for itself...if you need

anything the labs will tell you...high protein food and lots and lots of

water...good luck TTC.

New to group and have questions...

Hi, everyone!

I had RNY 18 months ago, and since then have met the love of my

life. My weight loss has stabilized, and last night we had

the " baby talk. "

I have to admit that I have been less than stellar when it comes to

taking vitamins. Actually, I don't. Shame on me! I feel so

wonderfully " normal " , that I kind of forget. But I know it's

important to start again, and was wondering how many and what kind

to take? I have a good multi and some folic acid and calcium

supplements. Do I take double the recomended dose?

I had a baby when I was obese, and am looking forward to a healthier

pregancy (though there were no problems last time, I am sure it will

be an all-around better experience at a healthy weight.) I have

been jogging/walking and plan to continue. I also need to eat

better -- more protein and less crap.

Any other suggestions? Thanks!

(BTW -- I just turned 36, so the clock is ticking...)

Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:3
