Guest guest
I had gone through the same thing early in my pregnancy also. The only comfort I got was from a stupid pillow. I know it sounds silly, but I did not sleep for 3 nights - I bought this pillow called the snoogle. They sell it as babys r us. It starts around your head, goes the length of your back and wraps up inbetween your legs. I have never slept to soundly in all my life - Worked for me -worth a shot. Guest guest
First let me say I know how you feel. I too have fibromyalgia, mine is fibromyalgia/myofacial pain complex. Question, are you not sleeping because of pain or something else related to fibro? If it because of pain my ob has told me that I can take Lortab safely to help get rid of the pain so I can sleep. Now of course any pain medicine should not be used highly while being pregnant, but sometimes I understand from experience that you just need something. I am sure the ladies on here will have much better information for you as they are all so very knowledgeable. I can only offer you what my experience has taught me and I am almost 7 weeks pregnant. Take care. Virginia Pregnant, NOT SLEEP ING HELP!!!! Guys: I am in big trouble here. I have Fibromyalgia and it makes it very hard for me to sleep. I take Ambien usually but dont want to during pregnancy. I have tried Benadryl and now Melatonin, but I am just not sleeping. I even made a cup of half caf coffee this morning. Does anyone know of any good sleep remedies? I am desperate right now. If you told me to stand on my head and sing America the Beautiful before bed I would try it. But seriously, I am like 5 weeks pregnant and if I dont get some sleep soon I am going to have to tell my boss cause its getting bad. HELP PLEASE!!! Thanks Children are a blessing, and a gift from the Lord. -Psalm 127:

I do usually wake up sometime in the middle of the night to eat again but for the most part I have little trouble after my bath falling asleep. Maybe try a little lavendar oil on a tissue in the pillow or maybe a nice cup of hot tea before bed. Hope this helps and that you get your much needed rest. ~hugs~ Shalonda
