Guest guest
Hi everybody, I've been out of the country in the last 2 months, we got back in new jersey 5 days ago and I just found a tick in the back of my 2 1/2 years old! I removed it alive put in a plastic bag. I washed my son's back and clean the area w/ peroxide. I 'm in panic right now! He' s currently taking his multivitamins, b complex, vit c, probiotic, transfer factor and I finished tonight w/ anita. Tomorrow I'll call his ped.. I'll appreciate any suggestion Thanks Grace
Guest guest
I just went through that with my 6 year old son in late June. He got a bullseye rash about 2 weeks after I removed the tick and I didn't keep the tick. Definetly have your doctor send the tick in to be tested and your doctor will probably give you a 3 to 6 week course of augementin, I'd recommend a six week course, but read up on it. There's a great website Lyme101.com I think it is...tells you everything. My son has been on both augmentin and zithromax (for co-infection Bartonella) all summer. He started zithromax about 1 month ago, when I realized he had had a Bartonella rash as well as the Lyme rash. But only 7% of people will get any rash at all, so you have to treat with antibiotics either way. Don't worry too much, it's fixable, that what Dr Ray (who I saw last week in Connecticut) said.Subject: Tick biteTo: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex >Date: Monday, September 10, 2012, 7:13 PM Hi everybody, I've been out of the country in the last 2 months, we got back in new jersey 5 days ago and I just found a tick in the back of my 2 1/2 years old!
