Take a look at

Hi All;

Please excuse the cross post.

If there is anyone who has found a solution to travelling in a van/car with an aggressive child, please contact me.

My dd is almost 10 years old and can be extremely aggressive during transport (attacks driver and passengers).

I would love feedback on any type of 5 point harness or car seat option for larger children that successfully prevents the child from reaching the driver. I do not have the cash for extensive vehicle modification.

Yes, we are following special diets, biomed/homeopathy etc. :)

Thanks,

Kim

Thanks for the reply. Have you installed one for your child? We have a

shoulder/lap belt so I'm not sure of the logistics of installing - looks like

it's for a middle seat lap belt?

Check their website, they have a few more options.I am not using it as DS loves to sit in the car and look outside. He is not posing any threat to himself or us when the car is in motion or otherwise. If we notice anything like that, I will install this right away.

Google for instructions, if your car is old then you will need to do some work but otherwise most of the new cars have what it needs, still complicated if you have a sedan, SUV seems a lot easier. Call them up and ask them all the questions.

Good Luck.
