Ketotifen for ASD- anyone used it? heard of it?

Hello,Hope everyone had a good summer. We are back to doing treatments after a little hiatus. Our doc is highly recommending ketotifen for our asd child. He has GI issues and also been highly irritable in the recent past- any little annoyance gets a emotional response. It's been hard, what can I say. Would love to hear if anyone has used ketotifen and your experiences with it?He is 5yo, PDD, HF, generally social and verbal. Thin as a reed. We are GFCF also giving Taurine. Fish Oils, Vit D, Vit C, Probiotics. Thanks for your help.Shelley.
