Guest guest
I have a Crysler town and country and it is great. I get abou 275 miles to a tank, depending on where i drive. It is a 97 and we bought it used. it has a third row and also duel sliding doors which is really nice. I like being able to get my son in from either side. Guest guest
The GMC Envoy is an SUV with 3rd row seating. There is a Chevy Trailblazer version of this same SUV that does as well. The minivan that we just purchased has three rows of seats, but the middle row is two separate captain's chairs and the third row is a bench seat. I like the set-up, as you do not have to climb over the middle bench seat to reach the third row. The captain's chairs will hold car seats (my concern) from my understanding. We haven't used the van yet, since we don't get possession for a couple of days, but otherwise all is great. My friend's tell me that the minivans get better gas mileage than SUVs, but less than my old compact size car (think Ford Escort/Toyota Corolla size). Guest guest
My husband and I have matching Blakc Chevy Tahoe's. Well, his is a 98 and mine 2002, but he has had somuch luck with his there was no other option for him but to get another one. Mine is all leather, heated seats, 3rd row seats, and ONSTAR! I won't ever have another vehicle without ONSTAR. They have sold me on that. So, having been a die-hard Camry fan, I've now switched to the Tahoe's. Funny thing is, the neightbors down the street have matching WHITE Tahoe's. (one older and one newer. lol) It has dual front and side impact airbags and will notify ONSTAR who will notify 911 immediately if they get no reponse from you after they airbags deploy. Also, I locked my keys in it once and they remotely unlocked it for me. I haven't locked the baby in it yet *notice the yet*, but I'm not worried if I do. MPG is terrible, but the trade off for safety and security is worth it to me! JMO, Sheila
Guest guest
That sounds great! Tahoe's are really nice trucks. I would have considered one if the budget allowed for it. I keep spare keys with me, in case the doors are locked with me on the outside. My Mom often tells me of the time I was locked inside of the sitter's house as an infant and the sitter was looking in at me asleep in my blanket, crying until the doors were opened. " but that aside, i dont like them , because the engines are just too undersized, i know the resale isnt that great eaither, so for 6-7k you can get a lot newer minivan than say an suv we have a 1 1/2 mile driveway, its pretty rough going, so i have a jeep cherokee, for now but , i also have my 2 children and 3 step children who are here in the summer, making for a family of , currently 7, ive test driven the dodge durango , and liked it, as well as the ford expedition, the ford explorer has a 3rd row seat, but it doesnt lay FLAT when out of use, so i didnt think it was worth the trouble to even think of buying, we also have a farm and horses, cows etc get hauled around by trailer,so the mini van didnt have enough power for me to really look at it , i so again most of the year we wont need that 3rd seat, but in summer we do , this is just my consideration, not anyone elses that being said i have driven the toyota previa which i thought was a pretty decent looking performing vehicle
