Guest guest
My doctor did not insist that I take the GTT. However, she didn't want me to take the fasting test (she didn't think it was very accurate). So she set me up with a diabetes clinic and a blood sugar monitor. I have to check my blood sugar (prick my finger and everything) FOUR times a day for 2 weeks!!!!!!! I am not enjoying this. Waaaaaaa lol I have been doing this for 3 days already and all my numbers are kinda low. I have always had low blood sugar, hypoglycemia, and since the surgery I haven't felt sick with it like I had before surgery. However, I guess I might still be having some low sugars. Not massively low, but low enough. She wants me to run around 120 after eating. I have been high 90's or 100. Anyone know if low suagrs can affect the baby? Thanks
