I personally believe in gentle parenting.. which is why I get bent out of

shape when my mother suggests my 2 year old needs more discipline..

We use a Pack and Play.. aka baby jail when Noah starts with the head

banging.. and beyond consolation...

There is a big soft blanket in there... and he likes the " small space " ..

I am a HUGE fan of redirection... and praising good behavior and NEVER

rewarding bad behavior...

I grew up in a home where my parents were " spank happy " ... and well... not in

my house!

What is gentle parenting? This may seem like a really silly question

but I have never heard that phase before.

While I didn't BF Noah.. we did co sleep for afew months.. then xfer to the

Crib next to my side of the bed.. and then moved over to his room.

Which I might add is when I got preggers again.. but m/c... go figure.

Have you ever heard of love & logic? It's a way of parenting. I love it.

Works for MIL, Husband and I learned all for my 10 year old. Amazing how some

adults need to learn a few things as well!
