Guest guest
My son did this too. My thought it may be inflammation in the brain. Lutimax (Luteolin) helps with brain inflammation. I give my son Lutimax in combination with a probiotic for gut balance. We use Biogaia. For the last 2-3 weeks, I am noticing that my son is shaking his head side to side 6-7 times in 10 secs. This is happening a lot lately. What could be the cause of this? What can be done to reduce it? Kinda worried. Thanks
Guest guest
Is it like he is shaking his head fast in a "no" gesture? If so, I would suspect it could be a visual stim. Are you supplementing with CLO?Subject: head shaking side to side :New behaviour : 5yr oldTo: Date: Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 8:04 AM Hi All,My son just turned 5 years last september. For the last 2-3 weeks, I am noticing that my son is shaking his head side to side 6-7 times in 10 secs. This is happening a lot lately. What could be the cause of this? Guest guest
My daughter shakes her head in a "no" gesture, too. Sometimes she actually is answering "no" to a question we asked her (Yeahhhh!)... And sometimes she is doing a visual stim (just like Big Me discribed), or playing with her hair ponytail... Guest guest
My son did this for a short while. It was as fast as hand flapping but with his head! I was very worried about the damage he could cause himself. Never knew why he started or why he stopped. Stéphanie B. Guest guest
My son is also 5 yo and also started doing this movement lately. It's definitely some sort of stim not related with anything he is doing at that moments. He is looking with the corner of his eye sometimes while shaking his head side to side. He hasn't looked with the corner of the eye since we started biomed two and a half years ago and now we have this. I think he is getting bored at doing this and it is diminishing. I am sure it will eventually stop but who knows why it started in the first place... Things are coming and going - old and new ones. It seems that it will never end but it does for some lucky families. Best wishes, Dani To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2012 8:56 PMSubject: Re: head shaking side to side :New behaviour : 5yr old My son did this for a short while.
