Guest guest
Hi, I am about 16mos post-op. I have gone from 332 to 143. I just found out that I am pregnant. I'm scared and confused since I will be doing this alone. (without the father) and that's another story. I would really like to hear from you all about what I can expect, and how the weight gain and loss happens. Thanks, Cheryl

I am 14 months post op and due in approx 7 weeks. I too am doing this with out the fathers help. I have for the most part been a very normal pregnant woman. You have to take your vitamins (speak with your doctors as to which ones) eat a healthy diet and drink lots of fluids. It is understandable that you are scared and confused, but be assured that you will be fine. So far I have gained only 12lbs. I had lost 125-130 before I found out I was pregnant. The doctors think that I will resume my weight loss after baby gets here and that I should have no problem getting to goal. In fact doctor wants me to gain more weight. She would be happy if I gained a total of 20lbs. That seems alot to me, but at this rate (baby growing like a weed) I can see that it might be possible. Feel free to email me at any time if you would like to talk. I wish you and baby the best of luck. Welcome to a great group of very knowledgable women. ~Hugs~ Shalonda and baby boy Malachi (due to appear soon)
