I've tried them at different cycles and I've never had one come back positive. I know I've ovulated because I was pregnant in June and miscarried in July. Anyway...I started my Clomid again this cycle (I did a cycle back in March and then waited until this cycle to try it again...LONG story). I've been frustrated because I haven't gotten any postitives yet. Well...this afternoon I left work to go home and test (thank God I've got a flexible schedule and I live close to work) and it came back positive. Now the line isn't quite as dark as the test line, but it's definitely there and it's almost as dark. So...I'll test again tonight to see what we've got. I'm just really excited that the test is doing SOMETHING this time. WooHoo!!! Maybe the next time I post about a positive test, it'll be a HPT!!! Thanks for letting me ramble. Love and peace... Guest guest
hi there, ive had so many months experience on clomid over the stretch of three pregnancies. what i have found is that using these test kits (and I have MANY TIMES), they are nothing but unpredictable because clomid messes with the hormone that is being detected by the kit. There is alot of info out there on how unreliable ovulation test kits are when you are taking clomid. i might suggest using them in correlation with observing cm. however, sometimes even that is a problem. cm has been known to dry up when one is using clomid. Everyone is different though. If you love to read, i might suggest reading toni weschler's book " taking charge of your fertility. " it's -- imo -- the most awesome book for women ttc. it will help you fine tune you body and learn about your fertility symptoms. lots of baby dust coming your way!! kimberly edd 4/3/
