Guest guest
My WIC people are incompitant, too! I told them I had the surgery in february and the pregnancy was a surprise and they still said I should gain 20 pounds. I have learned to just tell them what they want to hear. I have been dealing with them since I was pregnant with my son who is now 3.5. You learn after awhile what it is that they want to hear, and that is what you tell them. When they asked me if I was gonna nurse I said possibly but most likly not because I am also worried about the nutrieant thing, and I dont care what anyone says if I cant get the appropriate calories in then my body can't make for the baby. My son was formula fed and he has only had 1 ear infection and has had streap throat once(but even if he were breast fed he strep throat is a viruis so that dosent count) and he is very smart. I just plan on haveing a happy baby around and if my baby wants a full tummy, and it happens to be Isomil so be it!!!! Good luck with your WIC people. Dont let them bully you, and just remeber that they ARE NOT doctors they are just nutrisionist, and not even all of them are that, they just take classes. Have a happy pregnancy.
