Hi Everyone!

Does anyone out there know if it is safe to take Devrom or Innermint

while pregnant? This issue seems to have gotten worse with the

pregnancy...is it just me or has anyone else had this embarrassing

issue? I also wanted to report to everyone that I had my ultrasound

1 week ago and everything is fine. I am 9 weeks now but am still

spotting brown(just a teensy but-sorry so graphic). The doctor says

it's fine but I feel unsure. Is it ever going to stop? I hope it

goes away for good soon. I am 35 so am planning on having an

amniocentesis or that CVS sampling. Any workds of advice from

anyone on which one to do or which is safer would be most

welcome.....

Thanks, Raine

DS surgery 2/27/03

heard of either of these before. Are you in the USA?

I was 37 @ delivery and the amnio or CVS sampling were both offered to

me b/c of the increased risk of starting pre-term labor that cannot be

stopped and then end up miscarrying (just b/c I wanted to find out

*things* BEFORE he was born). I felt like I would have never been able

to forgive myself if I lost my baby b/c of an amnio. This is a hot

topic and no one's OPINION or EXPERIENCES are wrong on this list. I'm

certain you will hear from both sides (just mention circ's or

breastfeeding and this list goes wild). I chose no amnio b/c my hubby

and I tried for nearly 1 year to get preg and I didn't want to be that

small sampling (1-2%) to lose the baby when we wouldn't abort under

those cicumstances. Yes 1-2 % is an extremely low number of

miscarriages, but that isn't such a small sampling when it happens to you.

JMHO!
