Guest guest
Hey Terri, Thanks for the note....I remembered that you lost Maci at around 22 weeks and know that this has to be a very emotional time for you, full of lots of sad memories...But you have the right attitude, sweetie...and once that time passes you will feel better about things...I know you will honor little Maci yet continue to feel happiness and hope about your new little girl. Maci won't ever be replaced in your heart, but this new little one gives you the chance to be a mommy to a beautiful little girl in her own right...And doesn't that honor Maci most of all? Okay, I will stop now, because if you are half as hormonal as I am right now, you have tears going...lol Itchy booby rashes suck...Check with your Dr if you haven't already. I used to get a combination type rash that was yeast + exzema. Canesten cream helped with that since it had cortisone in it...I hear you about the heart beating thing too..I have been getting flutters in my chest at rest now and again lately. How am I feeling? Well...not sure if you knew that I have been on bedrest since 32 weeks (I am now at 35 1/2!!!)...Its been frustrating not being able to do much, but its all for little Jorja, so I will try and stay put as much as I can. I have been " upgraded " from PIH to preeclampsia over the past 10 days since I am now spilling protein in my urine along with the swelling and high BP. I have so far avoided being put into hospital by a hair - its a debate between the internist and the OB. Whats keeping me out is that my blood tests are still normal (thank God) and the amt of protein is not yet critical... The BP's on the other hand have been interesting. They will go along for a few days and be acceptable, then shoot up (I had one today that was 172/112, despite increase in my medication yesterday...of course, that was after dealing with the unemployment office..lol)...I have had the BP meds increased x 3 now and am almost at the maximum dose... The upshot of all this:::::: My Dr plans to deliver me within the next two weeks!!! Whoo hoo! Will get to meet Miss Jorja before Halloween...My last week's u/s showed her to be just over 4.5 lb, but I seem to be doing alot of growing in the past two weeks (including my butt from sitting around, lol..but she is finally measuring what she should be too). So, Jorja is almost right where she should be for weight (just a tad small) and Dr wants to wait til around 37 wks if possible for lung maturity and best weight, etc... I asked about vag vs section and I think she will likely induce me and do a section if needed only. I am not sure, but I imagine with my BP she will insist on an epidural so that I don't stroke out or anything... I am hoping to avoid a section, but will do anything neccessary for my little peanut. Anyway, I have blabbed long enough. I will be thinking about you in the coming weeks, Terri. I hope that you get through all this emotional stuff as well as the rest of school, work etc...very quickly so that you can relax and enjoy some of this pregnancy. Please keep in touch when you can... Hugs from your friend UP NORTH, eh... EDC Nov 10...Probably going to be more like Oct 20 or so > > > > > > > > Well, I just found out today that my pregnancy is no longer > > > > viable. My HCG levels didn't rise at all over the weekend.
