Guest guest
This is from Beth Maloney:In honor of election day, I am circulating the list of hospitals that you voted as " BEST HOSPITALS FOR PANDAS/PANS. " I won't circulate the List of Losers....just think long and hard before going elsewhere if you have the option of one on the winners below, BUT do be certain to stay away from Boston Children's Hospital. Please help us to grow this list. If you have any suggestions of hospitals to add as Recommended (or Loser), please email Kathy ksar@... Also - due to Hurricane Sandy our New Jersey support groups in Parsippany and Edison have postponed their regularly scheduled meetings. Please contact the facilitators for more information. parsippanypandas@... (Parsippany) or pandashelp@... (Edison). I strongly recommend that you always contact facilitators before showing up for any meeting just in case there's been a glitch. I hope you voted today. I got a bit teary eyed watching hurricane victims on television freezing and homeless, but determinedly voting in tents; only here, only in the United States.Parent Recommended Hospitals for Treatment of PANDAS/PANS** cautious or mixed recommendationsArizonaPhoenix – Phoenix Children’s Hospital (Dr Spikerman) CaliforniaPalo Alto – Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital IowaDes Moines – **Blank Children’s Hospital landBaltimore – Sinai Hospital (Dr. Shafrir) MassachusettsBoston – Massachusetts General Hospital MinnesotaSt. – **Children’s St. Pediatric Hospital New JerseyNewark – University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) (immunology) North CarolinaWinston-Salem – Brenner Children’s Hospital OregonPortland – Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel PennsylvaniaDoylestown – Doylestown HospitalHorsham – Foundations ClinicPittsburgh – **Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh South DakotaSioux Falls – Sanford Children’s Hospital TennesseeMemphis – Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital (Dr. McVicar) UtahSalt Lake City – Primary Children’s Medical Center WashingtonKirkland – Evergreen Hospital Medical Center (Dr. Keller) Washington, DCtown University Hospital WisconsinOconomowoc – Memorial Hospital
