Does pregnancy after wls bring back your controlled diabetes?

I was a type II diabetic and I say that, because I had surgery 6

months ago and have not taken my medication since. My husband and I

have one child and are in our late 20's, we have been discussing

permanent birth control, because my doctor wants me off the pill.

The more I think about it I would like to have another child, but I

am afraid that my diabetes would return. Please help !!!
