Guest guest
I suggest you sit back, put your feet up, relax, read through thousands of messages of hundreds of women just like you who got pregnant accidentally (or on purpose) and have had healthy, beautiful babies. You'll learn alot. Take your vitamins and iron. Get in your protein and drink your water. Rest. Be certain you are taking calcium CITRATE not Caltrate or Viactiv chews as they aren't absorbed well after GBP. You'll need your protein to keep you hair lush and full and you'll need your calcium to keep your teeth healthy and you'll need your water to keep your kidneys working. Relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Glad to have you! You'll get plenty of advice on this group! And then some! you've found a great group of women here! How far not sure yet, doctors still need to determine - what i thought was my last period may actually have not been a period at all. Anyway, I am almost 4 months postop and down 70 pounds. Now I am pregnant. I am scared, disappointed, happy, excited, and many more all rolled into one. Are there any suggestions on what pre-natel vits are good? And anything else you can think of. Thanks for you input it is GREATLY appreciated. Oh, this pregnancy was not planed and is a surprise. My husband and I were doing what we could to not get pregnant, but I guess when it is suppose to happen it will. Again thank you. Guest guest
Hi Virginia and welcome. Congrats on the pregnancy. I have been taking a prescription prenatal since a new post-op. It works great. I do take an additional folic acid tablet with it, since we are not sure how much is absorbed by our post-op bodies.
