I had that same problem with my son. After 41 hours I was only 1 1/2 cents.

They finally did a c-section. My sister doesn't dialate either and both

her kids were c-section. This baby will be a planned c'section because of

dialating problems and because my insurance only cover doctors near my work

and I work about an hour an a half from home. That's a long ride with

contractions in the middle of the night. It's much better for the baby to

not go thru the extra long stressful labor process when you just don't

dialate. I think you're doing the right thing.
