Guest guest
I agree with Rita to join the LIA group, it's an excellent resource! All the below info is on the site too. From what I have read the 23 band on the western blot is always indicitive of Lyme, so because it sounds like you may have had it for some time and some people don't show many antibodies for various reasons, further testing at a lab like IgeneX might be worth your while.Subject: Re: I need help with Lyme disease, pleaseTo: mb12valtrex Date: Tuesday, September 25, 2012, 12:52 PM The best answers to this detailed ? would be from the LIA (Lyme Induced Autism) Yahoo group Here's a link to it: http://www.lymeinducedautism.com/ On the right you will find "Support" "Join Yahoo Group" to help aid you joining the right group. Guest guest
Yes, please get further testing, through Igenex, or, Adavanced Labs has a Lyme test you can take if off antibiotics that will culture your blood and if positive, actually comes back with a photo of spirochetes found. I have Lyme disease and Bartonella, walked around with symptoms and no clue for years. Found when 'on a whim' I sent in a Western Blot for my PANDAS daughter, it came back band 23 positive. Found a Lyme literate MD (google Lymenet.flash seeking a doctor for one in your area) got further testing on us both, we are in treatment. Both of us have had improvements. > > Hi friends, > > I know some of you on here know a lot about Lyme disease and I was wondering if you could give me a little guidance. > > Long story short, I have been having a lot of health issues for a while and my doctors have not been able to figure it all out.
