Guest guest
Ok... this really fires me up.. This doctor is a jackass and obviously has NO experience with a post op pregnancy! I became pregnant with my son at 8 months post-op.. Had NO problems, needed NOTHING extra (no high risk care, etc) and had an extremely healthy 7lb 11 oz baby boy (apgars were 9/10). I am now 15 weeks pregnant again and am not treating this pregnancy any differently. Find yourself an OB/GYN that doesn't have her head stuck up her butt! GOOD LUCK!!! > > > > > > my name is razan and i am one year post op. i have lost 120 pounds > > and have 30 to go. i recently went to a kaiser doctor to have a > > check up and mentioned to her that i would like to become pregnant > > in the next six months. she informed me that i was playing with > fire > > and that i should forget the idea since i am a GBP. she said that i > > should have thought of this before i did my surgury. she told me > > that i would have a vey unhealthy pregnancy and that i should just > > forget it. i am blessed with two children but i would love to have > > more. after hearing about this group i desperatly wanted to join so > > i could know the real facts. please tell me your openions and if > any > > of you live in the stockton area of california and know of a better > > informed doctor please let me know. thanks for the support. razan
