Guest guest
Angelina: Don't worry - just wait until you see the doctor on Monday. If you are miscarrying, there is nothing anyone can do. Believe me I was just there in June (I had a miscarriage). Right now I'm pregnant again - I see my OB on monday also. He has to give me another sono to see if the baby has a heartbeat. I will only be 7 weeks 5 days. The only thing that I can tell you. If you had sex the night before, it can cause bleeding because the cervix is soft. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR VAGINA until you see your doctor (no tampons, no douches, no sex). Drink plenty of fluids and keep your feet up. I'll be praying for you. Guest guest
I really don't know a lot about your bleeding issues, my only advice to you is that if you are scared, call the dr. The last thing I would be worrying about right now is " bothering " him or her. Thats part of their job, and I personally wouldn't sit around all weekend worrying myself to death. Just my 2 cents...I'm sorry to hear about your problems, please keep us updated! Meredith S. --- newlife080604 wrote: > > Ok.. Take advantage, great for gift giving! So Confused And Scared!!! Ok.. I'm the one who posted before saying the my doctor believed based on my pelvic and Lmp that I was pregnant prior to surgery. Well, because everything is so confusing I had a dating scan on Wednesday. I should have been 9w6d, but the sac (which was all they could see) was only measuring 5w. So I got scared and had to wait 3 hours for my follow up doctor appointment. The doc said I could just be 5 weeks pregnant (which makes no sense because that would be almost a month after my lmp, but I conceived on the pill.. so apparently everything is all messed up). So he had me do blood work to check my HCG levels and told me not to get my hopes up until we knew for sure. The levels matched a 5 week pg and so I repeated the test on Friday and the numbers were rising so the doctor said that everything looked normal for a 5 week pg and we would repeat again on Monday to reconfirm. Well, last night I started bleeding. I am bleeding bright red blood and dark red, no tissue and am having mild (very mild) cramping. The bleeding is barely in my pad and mostly when I wipe. Is this spotting, or miscarrying.. I don't know what it all means. Since I'm not soaking a pad an hour (or even in a 24 hour period) I don't think I need to bother the doctor until Monday when I go in for my blood work. If I weren't pg I would be getting my period right now, so could it just be some bleeding because of that. If anyone has ANY INPUT or advice I would greatly appreciate it. Guest guest
Angelina, From experience, and 3 miscarriages, some light bleeding can occur around the time your first missed period is due..that is usually when the fetus " attaches " to your uterus and sometimes creates a small sore, which may bleed a bit. Like someone else said, also, if it is a miscarriage, there is nothing anyone can do to stop it, just know that everything happens for a reason. Good luck and much prayers with you. ~~Donna Open RNY 6/1/04 not yet TTC
