Guest guest
welcome chandra...what a heart breaking story. welcome to the group and congrats on the remarriage and pregnancy. i'm jennifer, sahm to nearly 5 year old benjamin and 19 weeks pregnant. married to currently deployed air force man david. i was 8 weeks post op at the time i got pregnant. aka mom2ben99 (jennilee75@...) Take advantage, great for gift giving! Finally come to join you all! Hello Everyone, I have belonged to this group now for quite some time, just haven't been posting. I have 3 wonderful children, 2 boys Noah 5, and Jonah 4. My little girl became an Angel on Nov. 22, 2001 while my mom in law let her and Noah out alone to play and they went to a neighbors yard and she drowned in their pool. It was such a hard time. I really only wanted to die then. I had my RNY on Sept. 11, 2001 and in Oct. I had complications and the opening to my stomach closed up so I had to be scoped and dialated. Then Nov. 6th I was in the worst pain I have ever felt and could not move from the floor (throwing up bile) and so my husband took me to the ER and they sent me on to the hospital for more testing. For 2 days they couldn't figure it out, finally they discovered scar tissue had wrapped around my intestines and was cutting off circulation. They said I nearly died from it. At that time they also did hernia repair and had me on high doses of potasium as they said it was critically low.. I was in the hospital a full week and had only been home 9 days (was still on pain pills) when my mother in law let them out and she died. We lived in MS at the time, but I hated it there so we moved her body to OK for burial. After her death I divorced my husband and moved with my 2 boys to OK. It has been very hard. I went through a lot of individual counseling and finally this past year agreed to go with my husband.. we went through his church and I am happy to say that we were remarried onSept. 04. (Just a few weeks ago). We just found out too that we are expecting another baby. My little girl had wanted a baby sister so badly when I was pg with Jonah, and she had picked out the name Hannah. Whenever she would outgrow something she would tell me " mommy lets save this for baby Hannah. " So it felt like Hannah is already a part of our lives... so we are really praying it is a little girl (although I will love and cherish this baby boy or girl... really want it to just be healthy!!) Anyways, that is my story. I have been reading these boards for so long, but now feel ready to become a more active member. My due date is set for May 24, 2005 however I am hoping they will take this one 2 weeks early like they did my last, I tend to have problems with my amniotic fluid absorbing in the last weeks of pg.. I have my first visit this Friday at the Dr. office. Are there any special test we need done in addition to the standard blood work? Well, I look forward to getting to know some of you as we go through our pg. -Chandra RNY Sept. 11, 2001 start wt 327 now 176 mommy to Noah 5, and Jonah 4 and Angel Helaina-Lee forever 5 http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/m/myangelsarah http://www.babieosnline.com/babies/j/jonahnoah
