wow yvonne, that sounds aweful. i wonder if you still have a small stone in

there. glad you weren't released to work. i couldn't work like that, that's

for sure. screw the father, i say don't call him or involve him anymore, how

Hello all. I have not posted in awhile, havent been doing well. Last Sat, 3am,

i awoke to horrible pain. The pain was in mid/low back and a wierd

sharp/lightening bolt pn inside the vagina goin up, and the same " menstral "

cramping feeling. I called ob on call, after taking 2 tylenol. She sd more than

likely it was just ligament pain in the back & ligament pain for the cramping.

She said give the tylenol time and to sit in a hot bath or put a heating pad on

and if these didnt work to get to ER. These didnt work. It was now like 5 and i

was DYING. I had my 2 children in bed & didnt want to bother ppl at 5am. I

called the " father " who said that its probably nothing and couldnt take me to ER

(total jerk) and the heat did NOTHING. I called the dr on call again at 6am and

another doc said GET TO ER fast. I awoke the girls and slowly got myself ready

and they got themselves together, i knew after 8 i would feel better calling

someone to take them from ER. They even packed food cuz i wasnt sure how long i

would be.

I tried to walk to the car and **i forgot i also had a horrible headace and

the light was bothering my eyes*** almost fainted. I went back inside, took off

my thongs and jumped in bed, layed there crying and called 911. The paramedics

wouldnt let me walk to gurney, and my thongs stayed beside my bed. They put my

youngest up front and the oldest in back w/me and the 2 paramedics. The lead

paramedic told the driver (In some paramedic lingo) to not run code but get me

there as fast as possible. They started asking me more questions and putting

monitors all over, checking this and that. About 1 mile from my house he saw my

pain getting worse, he helped me take off my sweats, that didnt help. He started

to check for places for and IV and kept asking if the pain is worsening, and it

was. He read some monitor and yelled to the driver that ____ something (cant

remember his lingo) dropped and its low so to run " code __ " and the lights and

sirens went on.

We got to the hospital which is far from my house in no time and the dr came

in fast, she said the ER was very busy but they needed to get me pain meds

because i am stressing the baby w/the pain and they would get an immediate

ultrasound. I didnt want to do pain med but she explained how it was ok.

They found my kidneys were dialated and that the baby was ok. They admitted me

for kidney stones and kept me pumped w/fluids to flush my kidneys and the stone.

The nurses strained the urine and only found one grain of sand looking stuff.

The first 4 days were pretty much a blurr. Now, i am home on pain med and the

order to drink drink drink. They wanted to do surgery but being pregnant they

dont want to. I wasnt released to work, which i thought i would be, and have to

see my ob next Thursday.

And, the father, he has been very unsupportive and frankly very mean. This

physical illness has been hard and i have hardly worked. Things just keep

getting worse.

Now, the cramping and pressure i feel low gets worse when sitting, when laying

its not as bad. I dont have a urinary tract infection but i sware it feels like

i have to " push out something " from where you uritate (specific name escapes

me.)
