Guest guest
Repost & put RITA in the subject line. She will know. Thanks,Sent from my iPhone We have started our 5 year old on immusist a week back with 3 drops 1x day and now we are at 4 drops AM and 2 drops bedtime. Her stools are loose since yesterday. Is this a normal reaction to immusist? Does this mean we need to slow down or lower the dosage? How long do we wait before we increase the dosage by one drop. What kind of changes can we expect to see with immusist in general? Please advise. Thanks in advance for any input. Guest guest
Pratima, This is a very child related ?....I'll do the best I can at answering for your child-not really knowing much about your child. Immusist does not generally cause loose stools..... that being said, people can react differently... & loose stools can be a detox reaction....here's a link to one of the better sites I know of that lists detox symptoms: http://www.indigoworld.com.au/DetoxificationHerxhiemer-eng.htm A few points highlighted from this site: * " The hardest thing for many people to accept is that they are not sick - to realize that the body is simply cleansing itself " * " The most important things to do during this period is to rest and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. Help the elimination of the toxins by washing out with water - the more the better. Drink, Drink, Drink! " * " Some Possible Detox Symptoms Clogged sinus, Constipation, Cough, Diarrhea, Fatigue, Fever, Flu-like symptoms, Cold-like symptoms, Gas, Headaches, Irritability, Moodiness, Skin rash, Stomachache, etc. " This being said, drinking plenty of water itself can cause loose stools....that does not mean you stop doing what the body is needing to clean itself out. I've posted up many positive changes seen by many in my WA group & on-line....most do not happen overnight, but are slow steady improvements. For my son, I've seen improvements in understanding & socialization (including improved grades). For others I've seen improved speach, improved interaction, help w/allergies & improvement in overall basic blood labs. Surfactants in general including Immusist are shown to increase cellular level oxygen, hydrate & reduce surfact tension of the cell...helping them work better...everyone could use this. Of note, we just saw 's highly regarded biomed Dr (Dr Amy... here's a link to her FANTASTIC Powerpoint if you haven't seen it...it's a Must See, especially the slides on Immusist: http://betterhealthguy.com/joomla/blog/259-biomedical-tips-and-tricks-with-amy-d\ erksen-nd In my recent appt we talked of some of the great things she is experiencing with Immusist. She told me Immusist has become one of her favorite products (this is big as she's high level in the Klinghardt camp of practioners that very much knows what she's doing). Ok...gotta go off track a little as I haven't had much posting time of late, I wanted to post this 2 weeks ago after our appt but haven't had time...she told me she has found if there is any EBV (especially long term chronic cases that have not responded to anything else) she has found it kicks the body into an important healing cycle but she has found she must start Immusist slow...like in 1 drop...then bring on other antivirals like Monolaurin, then build them very slowly. Immusist very slowly has been breaking through very difficult cases....but Low & Slow is the key, especially when EBV is involved. Now back on track...different kids have different stresses & organisms (whether they be viral, bacterial, fungal etc) that they are dealing with. With Immusist being anti-viral, anti-bacteria, anti-funal and an antioxidant a lot could be going on. The best advise I have is to Calmly Assimilate Immusist into the bodies healing process. To help the body, make sure you are taking with at least a 1/2 but preferably a full glass of water. Split your doses evenly 2-3 times a day. Instead of 4 drops in the AM & 2 PM, do 3 in the AM and 3 PM...if you could, do 2 in the AM, 2 mid day & 2 in the PM....you are still totaling 6 drops a day but by spreading them out you are actually helping the body gently acclimate both the support & detox that Immusist brings to the body. If all you are getting is loose stools & everything else appears managable, my mom advise is to stay the course for a few more days & watch, loose stools are a managable part of detox, & the good Immusist does to the body is worth staying the course....again, to help it would be a good thing to split the dose to 2 drops 3x a day. Just stay on this dose for a week or 2...do not increase till the detox is stable...when you do increase add 1 drop in the AM..stabalize the detox. When you add the next drop, add it to the mid-day or PM dose. Only if you are finding the detox to be more stressful than comfortable, then reduce the dose...I believe you as the mother will know what detox comfort level is. To restate, if you feel the detox is comfortable, stay w/the current 6 drops...spliting evenly throughout the day is best, then stay at the current level for 1-2 weeks. If you have monitored the detox to be to high, I'd drop down to say 2 drops AM + 2 drops PM & hold for 1-2 weeks. When you feel it's stablized & want to go up in dose, go up by 1 drop AM..hold for a week, watch....then add the next increase as +1 drop PM. I would not increase at this time but watch & wait 1-2 weeks for the detox to stabalize. Document/notate changes (some of the most common from our group has been more awareness & interaction..including paying more attension to their teachers & " getting more " w/their therapists).
