Guest guest
well had my upper GI endoscope yesterday (camera down my throat to view my " systems " ). we got there with no incident this time (transmission gave out last week on the way to the original appointment). they did not sedate me as much as they usually would, due to being pregnant. they monitored baby before and after and his heartrate didn't even decrease, it was just the same, so he was a trooper. GI nurses don't deal with pregnant women much, so they had fun listening to the heartbeat and feeling him move around. turns out everything is fine. all my nausea and vomiting is just due to pregnancy. the DR did say he dilated my tummy a bit, to try to even it out, make it a nice even pouch, hopefully that will help with the nausea a little (so far it's not helping). my throat was sore yesterday and a tad bit today, but that's about it...all is well. apparently pregnancy just doesn't treat me very well. (i was this way with benjamin also). at least we know i have plenty of progestrone and it's a healthy pregnancy (Says the DR). i'm down 6 more pounds since wednesday's baby appt. i'm now weighing 206 lbs. maybe i'll hit below 200# this pregnancy! aka mom2ben99 (jennilee75@...)
