Guest guest
Shala, I am almost 2 years post-op and have a little girl that is 11 weeks old. I received the depo-shot in the hospitla afte I had her but my surgeon told me that he wanted me not to se that form of birth control as it has a slight chance of weight gain so we opted for the patch and I started that today so we will see how it works. I didn't use anything after I got the surgery so this is my first attempt at it. I haven't taken any form of birth control since the birth of my fist daughter over 10 years ago. I hope this helps. Guest guest
I took the pill pre-op for years. Since WLS, I used the Nuva Ring along with spermicide for back-up. It worked great. Currently, using nothing, stopped in preparation for pregnancy. Haven't decided on what to use after pregnancy.
