scared to death with a question!!!!!!!long

Hello all, i have been a member of this group for a long while, many

of you may know me,but for those of you who dont here is a recap.I

had lap rny on july 21,03 and have lost 115 pounds..at goal.I have 3

boys ages 4,3,2..I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks on may 1 and a

miscarriage at a little over 4 weeks in june.I am currently 4 and

1/2 months pregnant at this time,i am so scared to death, i dont

know if its because of my previous miscarriages or what...My

question for you girls is.When did you start showing?Should i

already be showing?I have not gained any weight I actually lost like

4 pounds.With my other pregnancies preop i was already like a

balloon.I dont know if thats because i was already overweight.I am

going crazy.This friend i have is due 2 days before me and she is

slender but she is already showing people say to me all the time you

sure you are pregnant.I seen my baby on a ultra sound internally 3

weeks ago and have felt it move but here lately i havent..I am so

scared any response would be appreciated..lost and alone in

texas...angel

oh angel, i'm sorry you are having such a hard time and so scared, but

especially after 2 miscarriages, it's very normal. i had a hard time with

benjamin's pregnancy, i had 3 miscarriages before him, and it was torcher. i am

20 weeks along and not really showing, only to me and hubby, tummy is starting

to get a little firmer. i was hoping to have a cute belly by now, having lost

130 lbs in the last 6 months, but nope...as for movement, this early, it's so

sporadic, they are so little that it's normal to not feel them often. when in

doubt call your dr, but i'm sure everything you are feeling or arent' is normal.

I am also 4 months pregnant and am not showing at all. I am at goal and have

only gained two lbs. This is my first baby, but I do know that are bodies

are now different then everyone else. You have seen and felt your baby and know

that it is fine. Be patient - soon enough the belly will pop out, I am sure.

From my understanding post WLS patients do not usually

show like non-WLS patients. A friend of mine just had

a little girl post-op (her first baby) and the baby

weighed over 8 lbs. She started looking pregnant when

she was about 6-1/2 months along. Never got that

" belly " that other women get.

Hope this helps. I have not ever been pregnant.

Hopefully, it won't be long.
