Hello All,

I just went to my first OB appt last Friday. He said that I do have a hernia

and he would like to fix it at the same time I have my c-section (previous 3

births all c-sects.). He said to do this though he would need to give me a

vertical cut instead of a horizontal one. Has anyone here had anything similar

done? I was kind of hoping that this hernia would be my ticket to getting a

tummy tuck, as I desperately need one, in which case I would rather wait to

have it repaired then. Anyone have any advice? I have had all horizontal cuts

and it seems a vertical cut would be much slower to heal, and harder to nurse

after and care for the baby after?? Also wondering if anyone else here has

their blood sugars drop all the time? If I eat a bowl of cereal and milk (not

sugared cereal, just plain cheerios or chex) my blood sugars will drop within

30-

1hour.. If I do something I know is horrible like drink a starbucks I can

count on my blood sugar to crash faster then that even? Anyone have this, does

it mean I will develop gestational diabetes? It seems to be worse now since I

am pg then it was before. I am going to see a nutritionist next week, but

would love to hear any experiences from here also. Thanks everyone!
