Guest guest
Hi Carol Thanks for the reply....I breastfed my other 3 children so I know the basics. All the Enfamil supplements did was make your milk richer in DHA/ARA or whatever they put in formula nowdays. Im really not wanting to take any herbs at all. I also know that you can find these ingredients in fish.... which I hate. I was just looking for them to check the price. It isnt formula.. it is a supplement. Again thanks! Guest guest
I've been to the Enfamil website just because this peaked my curiosity. They aren't showing that they have a supplement for the mother either prenatal or postnasal. Their nutrition part of the website emphasizes healthy foods......no supplement listed at all. Also, when you go to the " products " section, there are no supplements listed there either. Maybe this was a misunderstanding or something. Mandi in Concord, NC Mom to 4 boys!! Guest guest
I ordered the Enfamil supplements from their website -- it was about $30 for a 90-day supply (no charge for shipping.) Seems to be similar to the Coromega, but it's from a non-fish source (same as the infant formula). There wasn't a ton of info on their website, so when it gets here I'll read a bit more about it. I'll also pass it by the nutritionist at my surgeon's office to get her take & let ya'll know. Have a good day! Guest guest
Well I did find them.. I didnt mean to cause a big controversy.. I was just curious about the product and with my diet lacking in several areas I didnt see where taking this would hurt. It is a DHA supplement and is supposed to support brain and eye development in babies...and it is a gel cap that you take along with your daily prenatal vitamin. Pretty much the same thing they have added to the new infant formulas. True we have survived for years without such a thing.. and I have 3 other girls that have turned out just fine without it.... it is also known that women had healthy babies without prenatals for years too... it is just something that I personally wanted to persue.. and did. Now for those of you who arent interested.. please ignore the following. But for those of you who are.. I found them at Walgreens.... and they were 15.99 for 30 caps. Thanks again for the replies

Guest guest
Here's the link to the supplements on the Enfamil website: http://store.enfamil.com/expecta_lipil.html It's $12 for a 30-day supply; $31 for a 90-day supply. I ordered the 90-day supply over the weekend (no shipping charges), and the package arrived today. It also included a $1.50 coupon on a future purchase. The details from the side panel are: Serving size is 1 softgel -- calories -- 5. Contains 200 mg. of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid from Crypthecodinium cohnii oil). Hope that helps!
