Hi folks,

Hubby and I have been TTC for about 4-5 months now....I just tested

this morning (period is two days late) and the test was positive...so

I did a second...also positive (though lighter pink line). I'm going

to get another test and do tomorrow morning. Now my question is, if I

am pregnant, how long before I should start telling close friends and

family? I think I'm going to tell my folks this week if this third

test shows positive. (I'm going to wait quite awhile before telling

work and co-workers) I will also make an apt. with my primary, who

knows we've been " working on it " . She follows me well after my RNY

(7/17/01). She also does my lab work for nutrient levels. She'll keep

an eye on my levels. I am already on a pre-nat, and was continuing my

calcium citrate (500mg 2X day...is this too much?). I stopped my

regular regime, of a multi w/o iron, a B12 and Calcium citrate in the

AM and then after lunch I would take Iron, and than a calcium citrate

at night (that one I sometimes would forget). Now I'm taking pre-nat

and a calcium citrate, and probably 50% of the time, taking another

calcium citrate before bed (I tend to forget even though I keep it in

a dish in eye shot). Anyway, I'm excited, but I'm forcing myself to

stay calm, incase this is a false positive. Any info/advice/words of

wisdom would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS!!

Kim open RNY 7/17/01 282/150/135ish (that'll be on hold for

awhile,eh?)
