Guest guest
I thought about it for a good two minutes and I have to say, I don't know. I am not even sure I get it. Guest guest
I understand completely. However, any real friend that understands that he is just " quirky " and doesn't say things quite right. I wouldn't stress that to much. See, this scemantics thing has me wondering now...am I in love with my husband or do I love him? And is there really a difference? I mean, when we tell our husband/boyfriend/SO " I love you " it means one thing, when we tell our children " I love you " it means something slightly different, when we tell a friend " I love you " it means something else. There are just many types of love but they are all represented by " I love you " . I mean, how many people say " I love you, and I don't mean that in any *weird* sort of way? " It's all confusing. Guest guest
How about presenting it more like " a rule " than a concept? Something like ... Mommies and Daddies fall " IN LOVE " and get married. " IN LOVE " is for between Mommies and Daddies. " LOVE " is what Mommies and sons have. The LOVE each other. That might satisfy him for the time being. Debbie with twins - Jordan (ASD) 2.5yo - (NT) 2.5yo
Guest guest
...I just don't want him telling boys who might be his friends that he's in love with them. of course, I'm always open to the idea that he might be gay, but let's face it -- in first grade to who knows what grade, telling another boy you're in love with him might get your ass kicked. :-( Jacquie **************************** ugh, pretty much thru high school will be an ass kicking thing for that..maybe put it to him as mommy and daddy are in love, but we LOVE you kids...try putting it into a married aspect at least for now..that will give you some time to think up a better way around it Missy

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! > Little boys of a certain age, perhaps a little bit younger than , but not much, do feel that they are in love with their mothers. They have no concept of what being in love is, of course, they just know that they love their mommies. He'll probably have other ideas just from normal development later on, and still later on when his teenaged hormones hit, he'll definitely know the difference. Hormones are not interested in theory of mind. Just tell him, for now, that you can only be in love with people that you are allowed to marry and that you aren't allowed to marry your son. Guest guest
Ohhhhh, I am so dreading this time coming, I mean how do we really explain what came naturally to us over time? The girls have already been kind of asking why I don't call dh Dad, I have explained it away as " he is my husband and you are his daughters " ....like they understood ;o) but it sounded good. He loves you and that's fab. Freyja tells me she loves me but Liesel doesn't Louisa
Guest guest
> See, this scemantics thing has me wondering now...am I in love with my > husband or do I love him? And is there really a difference? Personally, I don't think there is a difference. I think 'in love' is just a phrase to describe that infatuation you feel during that first pheremone kick of love. What matters to me, though, is that society definitely draws a line between the two phrases - how many movies and tv shows have you seen where someone says, " I love you...but I'm not IN LOVE with you. " ? I just want him to learn the pragmatics of the phrases so he doesn't end up being called sissy, faggot, weirdo, gayboy, etc, and so that boys will still play with him. that's all. As for the semantics of it, I really don't care. Jacquie

Guest guest
For Crohns they have a lot of success with TSO therapy. To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Thursday, September 6, 2012 12:04 AM Subject: HELP! Could someone please help?I'm in overload with all the different suggestions of what to take. My son has crohns. I've read about using charcoal, 5mthf, mb12, crohns dad protocol which is ldn, boswellia, curcumin, probiotics, enzymes, etc, etc, etc. Could someone please help me make sense of what is needed? I don't want to give him an overload of things, especially due to the high costs of alot of them. BUT I do want to make sure I'm getting him what he needs. Any ideas on where to find ONE program to try would be greatly appreciated. It's hard for me to know which needs and which he doesn't. Guest guest
We don't have a confirmed crohns but it and UC have come up as possibilities by a couple of doctors seeing my kids. They have very sensitive guts so alot has made them worse. LDN TD has been a good one and it has been studied to help crohns patients. Probiotics have been very important for us too. Unfortunately, i don't think you will find one protocol that will help all kids. Sometimes you have to just try it and see how he reacts (after alot of research first).Good luck!!
