1HR HIGH: Now they want a 3HR!!!

Man...I tried explaining that the one-hour gluclose screening wasn't

going to be a breeze but the doc's 'girls' didn't believe me.

I didn't get too sick, just a little queezy, but nonetheless...it

came back extremely high. (I'm usually hypoglycemic so I knew it was

going to be blown off the charts)

Anyhow, argued with the nurses today over the phone...tried telling

them there was no way in hell that I was going to take the 3hr test

and that there were other options and they won't listen to me.

What did others do in this situation? Am I wrong about taking the

one-hour and expecting it to be high? Or does that REALLY mean that

I've got Gestational Diabetes? I haven't had any problems with sugar

during this pregnancy...until this test was taken!
