Guest guest
My doctor may not be the best, but he's pretty darn close in my book. I got to the appt, same nurse that I had argued with via phone in regard to the GTT took my pressure and stuff. When asked if there was anything out of the norm that I wanted to talk to the doctor about, I mentioned the 3hr request and how I had spoke to my surgeon's office; that I needed to talk to my doctor about that. She immediately got defensive as if I were asking to cut her left arm off, telling me that EVERY LAST patient goes through the 3hr and so will I! My doctor came in smiley like usual...asked the usual things...I told him what the surgeon said. He apologized for giving me the 1hr...said that he had already phoned a glucomoter rental in for me and they would like me to test my self in the mornings...and said THAT nurse works for the other OB - not him. I guess the other doctor doesn't take 'special' patients, therefore that nurse didn't know what she was talking about. LOL! Anyhow, he drew an AC1 on me and I was on my way... Thanks for the suggestions...you guys are great! in Detroit 33 wks
