Guest guest
- The only people who have to like this name are you and your husband. I would not even tell your mother or anyone else what you are nameing her till she is here then you don't have to worry about what they say. Good luck. I like Abigail, but are you ready for her to be called Abby? Guest guest
I like Alison, it sounds good with your last name. Plus if you put it together with she could be called Ali Kate and it could make you and your mom happy. Axelrod OSSG-pregnant] Stressed over naming baby..Need help! Hi everyone, I am getting so stressed out over naming this baby!!! I usually like very traditional, not cutesy names. My biggest thing I think of is if this person will still want to be called so and so when they are 50 and not 5. My daughters name is Amelia Evelyn and my son's name is Grant lin (both family names) and the up and coming is also a girl. My husband and I both like Abigail, but it is sooooo popular right now. Also, my Mom is throwing a clinker into everything giving her opinion on what she thinks. She says " Oh, I suppose Abigail will grow on me. " She likes (calling her Kate and it is also my middle name.) I think it's okay. Here are a few names I am bouncing around. Keep in mind, the last name is SLIFER (Pronounced: SLYFUR) and it needs to sound good together. I just want some honest opinions, suggestions and recommendations for other names, etc.. No offense taken whatsoever lol. ABIGAIL KATHERINE ELEANOR AVA AVERY CHRISTIAN TARYN (very out there for me, but I like it) CLAIRE ALISON Just a few I can think of at the moment. THanks! Guest guest
If you tell someone what you plan to name your baby before it's born someone will always have something to say about it. We chose not to tell anyone our baby's name until he was born and there was only 2 people that had something S.A. to say about it and their opinion didn't really mean anything to us. Guest guest
I really like Ava . I love Abigail, its one of the names on my list too but I agree with the other Merdith...I'm not ready to have her called Abby either. I like le, but dont like Gabby for short...We also like , and my husband loves . Good luck on coming up with that perfect name. I am in the same boat you are...All day there are hundreds of names whizzing thru my head. Guest guest
Taryn is a pretty name. I like it - It is unusual. There will not be 50 more in Kindergarten class. There is no obvious nickname for it. Major plus! Herlean *Uncommon name and loving it more all the time! --- cervetti29@... wrote: > Hi everyone, > I am getting so stressed out over naming this > baby!!! Guest guest
Thank you to everyone for their wonderful input!! I think I have nixed Abigail, because it is so popular and I was at my daughters school yesterday and there were like 5 little art works on the wall with the name Abby on it. I think I am leaning towards Ava or possibly Ava Marie (because I love that song Ave , lol) (http://lilypie.com/)
